Andy Grenci:  Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, All Levels

Andrew Grenci holds a bachelor of science degree in music from
Duquesne University, a master of music degree from Yale University
and a doctor of musical arts degree from the State University of New
York at Stony Brook. He is currently the bass clarinetist of the New
Haven Symphony and Assistant Principal Clarinetist of Orchestra New
England. Mr Grenci was the first bass clarinetist to appear as soloist
with the U.S. Coast Guard Band, performing his transcription of Elegie
by Gabriel Faure. He has also appeared as a clarinet soloist with the
Waterbury and Meriden Symphony Orchestras, and is a clarinet
instructor and woodwind chairperson at the Community Music School in
Centerbrook, Connecticut. Grenci joined the United States Coast
Guard Band as bass clarinetist in August of 1994.
