Clam Diggers Dixie Band: The New Haven Federation of Musicians

The Clam Diggers Dixie Band, with their signature red
and white jackets and straw hats, is a group of
talented Connecticut musicians who aim to please.
They perform American standards with a dixieland
style that has delighted audiences for over 35 years.
Led by jazz guitarist/banjo player Charlie Salerno, the
band hails from the "Clam Town" section of New
Haven, Connecticut, where music and good times go
hand in hand.

Much in demand, the Clam Diggers play regularly
throughout New England and the New York
metropolitan area. They perform in groups of 3 to 10
musicians (depending on the venue), and often
include solo vocalists for added entertainment.

playing and marching along with their fans to strains
of "Alexander's Ragtime Band", "When The Saints Go
